Minorities in Hospitality (MiH) was established in 1998 and since then has provided an advocacy forum for minorities within the hospitality industry.
Member Spotlight: Kim Pennycuff
As an Event Planner, Kim Pennycuff has over 27 years in the field.   She began her events profession with United States Water Polo which was located in Indianapolis at the time.   She has continued her event career in various positions with Indiana Sports Corporation, Circle City Classic and now National Football Scouting. Her background in customer service management and social/non-profit event planning boasts excellent communication skills, attention to detail and budget management

experience.

Kim is a native of Muncie, Indiana, where she started her career as a Court
Reporter in Delaware County before relocating to Indianapolis to start her event career. Over that time, she’s worked on several national, international, Olympic and NCAA sporting events, in additional she has worked on numerous high school athletic events, major banquets/dinners and meetings/conventions.  She is an active member and current board member of Minorities in Hospitality and the Indy Chapter of Indiana Black Expo.
